Last Sunday, February 28, was the first time I attended a Sunday Service and met Erikawa San at Sanctuary Church, Tokyo. Here I just want to narrate about my going there, my experiences and some of my realizations.
I just have some thoughts that I want to share and hope I could express it well to those who might read this.
About Hyung Jin Nim and Sanctuary Church and him being the Heir of True Parents. Well, its somehow clear to me now as I've realized that its his right, since being heir is automatic since birth, because as one of the sons of True Parents, he has the right and that's what we call birthright. It was there already for all the children of True Parents to inherit that precious position, because of the fact that they're the children of True Parents. This realization came to me while travelling and while in a conversation with my friend who was with me there in their car. I know that this issue has been already debated about in the UC and the Truth because Only the Truth will Set us free fb group but last Sunday it came to me very clearly. My friend said that why Prince William didn't do anything to gain his title as a future king and his son too even if not yet born? Does Prince William need to indemnify any sin? to suffer or gain approval from anybody to be a King? No, it was already there even before his birth and so its the same with the children of True Parents, that they are destined to inherit the throne of their Parents. Hyung Jin Nim as a Prince of Heaven did not need to prove anything about his Kingship, because of his birthright and also since he was chosen by True Parents with proof of his being worthy. And True Parents even chose the King for the third generation, Shin Joon, H2's son.
As I arrived at the SC in Tokyo and met Erikawa san, I saw a very confident and strong woman who has really got the qualities as a woman leader to lead Japan once again, like starting from scratch or ground zero.
We had our forum/testimony meeting after the SS as to know each other more and how about SC? There were testimonies which were very inspirational, such as the case of a spiritual mother and her spiritual son who met each other there, not knowing that they're both SC, saying, "are you also SC?"
Those who attended SS were almost all Japanese of course, who came from as far as Fukushima-ken, Shizuka-ken, Osaka, Singapore and Korea, Saitama-men, etc. We are only 5 Filipino members there (3 males and 2 females) which is myself and my friend, those three being 'Commandos', which means they have wives as Japanese. We were about 50 of us in a small room. The owner of that building said that the room was free for rent, as his offering to SC. He said, that the first time they had gathered as SC, there were only two people, Erikawa san and him and as a condition, after Erikawa san finished lectures, he would clap his hands and make a noise as if there were many people already attending. This he did as a condition for many members to come or attend one day and that condition or prayer was already answered last Sunday, wherein there were many members present.
There is one testimony by a member which is sad and shocking which is about his daughter who was raped by a UC leader. He reported that case to the HQ in Japan but they did not do anything about it, as if his story falling on deaf ears. So he was very frustrated about our UC. As I'm looking at him, I pity him as his face looks sad and gloomy that he cannot enjoy or laugh anymore. It was a shocking revelation for me since I thought we are different from the outside world. That kind of news I've read before in India, where there was a similar case like this, raping of second gens by Leaders but now, here in front of me, a UC male member, a father, is saying that his daughter was raped and nobody helped him here at the Japan UC to find justice for his daughter. Did it really happen? That is all I could say. What kind of people and Leaders we have?
Also I came to know and realized that we're really living in a Pentecostal type of time, where members can see the truth and can start a new beginning, a new life and I saw that we're really living as if starting from zero as a New Church from the ashes of the old. It reminded me of when there were gatherings of the UC when I first joined, we would meet with new members from Japan or other nationalities and we introduced ourselves to them. Who I am, what Blessing Order etc and now we add how we came to know Sanctuary Church, it's strange, isn't it? ha ha!
When my turn came to speak, I said that I came to know SC through You Tube and I've watched the Breaking the Silence, God save the Queen videos, etc. and that I was debating for the sake of H2 but as much as I liked it, I didn't want to be open about it somehow thinking about I'm the only one at Japan debating for it and to like Hyung but then I found that I can't help it and found myself debating on the issue online as always. But then....
I got a problem because my husband didn't know about Sanctuary yet and when the time came to drink Holy Wine the first time, I couldn't drink it because I still had to talk about it to my husband who is very busy.
Then one day, a friend here in Japan, invited my husband to SC Tokyo to meet Erikawa san for a seminar but my husband didn't tell me about that, because he didn't know that I knew it already and I'm the first to know. So he kept it a secret from me, where he was going. But after that, knowing that he came from SC Tokyo, I was speechless and thought about my worries before n it was all gone and feel happy that we are both the same in liking Hyung and both have no problem to this regard as united in our mind and heart.
